There was a hand painted Coca-Cola sign outside an uptown bodega that was wrong in many ways, but so carefully and sincerely painted, almost brought me to tears. My version here was painted from memory. The bodega sign was the inspiration for a series of alternate, strangely wrong-looking corporate logos.
